On the technicalities, i love the lighting here, and b/w was an excellent choice. Overall, the concept is executed effectively, although I might've preferred a more simple background as the tiles across the bottom seem to be a tad distracting.
In suppression it is time to release in an explosive in which everything to blame is yourself, the kind of act that you and yourself know deep inside things will change however it only will by the destroying those anger and hurt inside. To start anew, refresh, and begin.
well dear, i'm really glad im still wake although its 4 am here. i'm tired of sleeping though.
the picture fits my current mood, too. to be tired of yourself is sometimes a very disturbing thing making you doubting of all the things you do, but then its also a time of changes, of new things and even if you tear the picture of your head-up-self up, it shows that you want to make yourself more free. your head is down, but your mind is up, searching for satisfaction, searching for a new ambition...
i dont know what you have done with the picture afterwards, but it looks a bit too soft in some parts though. would like to see the structure of you legs, the hairs on it, but besides that i love it. maybe the covering of the structure is just a way to cover yourself, but i think thats too much interpretation. i'm overtired i think!

Goodness. Perfect way of portraying such a thing. It's sometimes hard to put words to images and viseversa. But this is so wonderful! I can empathize. Probably why I like it so much. Thank you for sharing.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P

I like the neutral darkness of the figure and the light/dark contrast.

The fact that he's holding a picture where the guy has his head up, and he's with his head down. Goes perfect with that title.
